Materials & Care Guide

I believe that jewelry should be as unique as the person wearing it. That's why every single piece you see here is dreamed up and handcrafted personally by me. I draw my deepest inspiration from the beautiful island of Kea—from its stunning nature to its bold colors and vintage charm. I take the time to carefully select materials that not only look beautiful but feel wonderful to wear.

Whether I'm sorting through stones for the perfect shape, hand-crocheting a delicate flower, or sculpting statement pieces from lightweight clay, I put a piece of my heart into every design. I want you to feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful in my jewelry.

Curious about what goes into your favorite pieces? Here is a little guide to the materials I love to work with most:

My Favorite Materials

Shaped and smoothed by the gentle waves over time, every sea pebble brings a tiny piece of the seaside to my designs. Because nature never repeats itself, any piece featuring a sea pebble is beautifully imperfect and entirely one-of-a-kind.

The self-drying clay I use allows for endless creativity and beautifully vibrant colors. The best part? It is incredibly lightweight, meaning even my biggest statement pieces are comfortable to wear all day. Unlike traditional clay, this special material is highly durable and won't easily break or shatter. I also seal it to be waterproof, so it can confidently handle your everyday adventures.

Known for its stunning, natural bands of color and beautiful shine, agate brings a bold and earthy feel to my jewelry. Beyond its striking appearance, agate is highly cherished for its grounding properties and is believed to bring emotional harmony, balance, and calm to the wearer. It’s a wonderful, vibrant stone that adds a unique pop of personality to your everyday look.

Known for its comforting weight and striking dark tones, hematite adds an elegant edge to my creations. Depending on the piece, I use stones with a smooth, earthy matte finish, or faceted stones that offer a sleek, metallic sparkle. It is also widely celebrated as a protective stone, thought to absorb negative energy and provide a strong sense of grounding and focus. Whether matte or shining, it’s the perfect stone to transition effortlessly from day to night.

I love incorporating a rich variety of colorful semi-precious stones. Each one is a tiny treasure from the earth, hand-selected to bring vibrant color, natural beauty, and a touch of positive energy to my handmade pieces.

For my silver components, I trust high-quality Sterling Silver 925. To make sure everyone can wear my designs comfortably, I exclusively use Silver 925 for all my earring clasps—guaranteeing a hypoallergenic, allergy-free experience for sensitive ears. It’s beautifully classic, highly durable, and ensures that your favorite jewelry keeps its gorgeous shine for years to come.

These romantic little blooms are carefully hand-crocheted by me personally using fine cotton thread. To make sure they hold their delicate shape and stay looking perfect, I treat them with a special hardener. You get a vintage look with modern durability!

Here are my top tips for keeping your jewelry looking as beautiful as the day you received it:

Always make your jewelry the finishing touch! Apply your perfumes, lotions, and hairsprays before putting on your pieces to protect the natural stones and sealed clay from harsh chemicals.

Sea pebbles, agate, hematite, and semi-precious stones can simply be wiped with a soft, slightly damp cloth to restore their natural shine and wipe away any natural oils.

Sterling Silver 925 naturally oxidizes over time when exposed to air. To keep your earring clasps and silver details bright, give them a gentle rub with a silver polishing cloth, and try to store them in a closed jewelry box or pouch.

While my self-drying clay is sealed to be waterproof and my crochet flowers are hardened for durability, it is still best to remove these pieces before swimming or showering. This ensures the colors stay vibrant and the cotton threads remain pristine.
