General Terms and Conditions

  1. General info: The present terms and conditions apply to the website store artinkea.com (hereinafter “the E-shop”), which is administered and operated by Dionysia Kolokotsa (VAT EL133208200, GEMH 146324438000, Ioulida, Kea, 84002 Greece)  and have as a purpose to inform customers about the terms that apply to the sales of our products made from a distance, in particular of original and quality jewelries, decorative items and pieces of art, inspired by the island Kea (hereinafter “The Products”) so as to best satisfy your needs  (hereinafter “the Terms”). By making a purchase of our Products you accept the following Terms.
  2. The Products: The Products sold from our E-Shop are described as analytically as possible and with precision in relation to the quality, the special characteristics, the size e.t.c., so as to give you information in a clear and comprehensive manner before the conclusion of the sales contract.  
  3.  Pricing: The prices of the Products are exempted from Value Added Tax (VAT)- exemption of small enterprises (article 39 of Law 2859/2000). The customer purchases the Products at a price that applies at the time the purchase is made. The prices of the Products are expressed in Euros.
  4. Procedure for online purchase: You choose the Products that you want by clicking the button “Add to Basket” and you put them in the “Purchase Basket” on the top right corner of the page. You may remove any Product by clicking the Removal button or you may change the quantity prior to complete the order. The order is completed when you chose the “Check Out” button. By clicking “Purchase Now” you may complete the order right away.
  5. Before completing the order and choosing the billing and shipping address you have to carefully read the Terms and clink on the image “I have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions”. 
  6. The completion of the purchase is effected when you make payment for the purchase of the Products by clicking on the Payment button, which mentions the specific terms, according to which the purchase price is paid. At this step, the delivery costs are shown, which may be different depending on the delivery place and the total value of the purchased Products. The E-Shop is not responsible for any charges imposed unilaterally by the courier.  
  7. After successful payment of the Products, you shall receive a confirmation of your order by an e-mail at the address you have declared. You may save or print your order by clicking on the field “My Orders”. 
  8. Cancel an Order After the completion of the purchase and before sending the Products you may change or cancel your order by sending an email at the E-shop’s email: sales@artinkea.com 

Also, you may change or cancel your order by a phone call at +306932402583 daily from 10:00 to 16:00 and  on Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00.

  1. Payment: The payment of the Products is effected by one of the following ways: 

(a) Via Viva Wallet

Your transactions are secured from the online security system of Viva Wallet which ensure a secure payment 

(b) Deposit to a bank account given by us.

(c) Payment at the store by a card or by cash, if you have chosen to collect your order from the store (when this choice is available).

(d) IRIS payments

  1. Security of your payment: The payment service providers mentioned above (n. 9) provide, as they declare, full security of your means of payment, and they comply with the EU and international legislation for secure payments. We do not bear any liability for any possible damage you may suffer from the use of your means of payment by a third party or by an unauthorized access or use of your account. 
  2. Delivery of the Products: Τhe delivery of your order is effected by the courier General Post  and you may see their charges analytically at the “Product Delivery” page.
  3. Products are delivered in Greece, Cyprus and countries of the European Union. The delivery of the purchased orders within Greece takes place within 3-5 days from the delivery of your order. After completing your order you shall receive an email from your courier with the number of your order. Through the site of the courier you may search your order. We propose that you make a search at the courier’s website after 24 hours from the receipt of the email, otherwise you may not find any results. 
  4. Withdrawal Right: You have a right to withdraw from a sale that you already made without mentioning the reason of your withdrawal within fourteen (14) days, from the delivery date of the Products.  Withdrawal is not possible in case you are a legal entity! For more information concerning withdrawal please see on our website the “Returns Policy”. 
  5. Status of the Products: Our E-shop offers for sale exclusively hand-crafted Products of high quality. Because they are 100% hand-crafted a Product may not be exactly the same with another. Our E-Shop does not offer for sale used or defaulted Products. 
  6. Liability: Our E-Shop is liable for any defects or lack of agreed qualities of the Products, according to article 5 of Law 2251/1994 for the protection of consumers and article  534 et seq. of the Civil Code.
  7. Our E-Shop does not bear any liability for the non-fulfillment of its obligations in case of “force majeur” events, such as bad weather conditions, strikes, pandemic e.t.c. In addition we do not bear any liability in case the non-fulfillment is due to the negligent act or omission of the Customer or a third party outside the sphere of influence f the E-Shop.

  1. Cookies: As more websites over the internet, so does artinkea.com we use cookies so as to have access to certain information any time you navigate through a web browser on our E-Shop. Without the use of cookies it would be impossible to offer you a status of your orders, personal info or to save products on the basket. You may accept only the “necessary” cookies.
  2. The submission of your personal info to our E-shop is regulated by our «Privacy Policy».
  3. Intellectual Property: Intellectual property rights concerning the software as well as the content of this website belong to the legitimate beneficiaries and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. The Client holds no license or consent to use, in any way, the trademarks appearing on the E-shop or the trademarks owned by third parties (producers / suppliers / manufacturers / dealers of the Products that the company sells). 
  4. Dispute Resolution: According to the Directive 2013/11/EC, which was incorporated in Greece under Joint Ministerial Decision 70330/2015, the possibility of electronic dispute resolution of consumer disputes with the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is now provided for throughout the European Union. If the customer is a consumer (i.e. a natural person acting outside of a professional capacity) and has any problem with a purchase he/she has made on our Website, he/she can initiate the ADR process through a single EU-wide online dispute resolution platform ODR) available at: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/main/index.cfm?event=main.home.choose Language which enables consumers and suppliers to submit any disputes arising from online purchases in an online dispute resolution process. It is noted that a necessary prerequisite for the consumer to address the Alternative Dispute Resolution is to have previously communicated his/her problem to us at sales@artinkea.com or to call on +30 6932402583 . The ADR procedure is provided for in law, is not binding for the parties which may withdraw at any moment. The consumer may communicate with the abovementioned institutions in order to receive guidance during the whole process to submit and complete his complaint.

  1. Competent Courts: By making a purchase through artinkea.com      you agree be submit all differences arising from the contract of sale and this Terms of Use  to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the City of Athens in Greece.  
  2. Applicable law: applicable law to all differences that arise from the purchases made by our E-shop is Greek law. However, if you reside abroad you may invoke the protective provisions of mandatory law of your country of residence, such as the provisions concerning consumer protection. 
  3. The present Terms may be amended because of changes in the applicable legislation. The new Terms apply from the date of their publication at the official site of the E-Shop.
